"well i dont want to even get into flame about motivation for writing articles, i dont think i need to… i think you know where im coming from…"

yeah, there is a load of crap on the internet, i'll agree with that.

The article I posted was never meant to be flamebait, just what happened to me when I tried windows 7.
I didn't use it for any length of time; hell, i didn't even try and re-install it properly -but I say all that above.

Playing with windows7 took time out of my life, and left me pretty vexed. I think my post explains this pretty well.

Well, when I first downloaded the .iso images (it must have been about 4 months ago now), the microsoft download page refused to work on any of my linux boxes (it had a bloody active-X download manager!) so I was forced to use a Windows PC, and I'm quite sure it had to be iexplore -though I might be wrong on that last part.

lol

really?

what a joke, ive installed 32 bit build 7000 on about 8 computers so far, and 64bit build 7057 on 3....

ive played with the registries on one of the 7000's and screwed it up, so had to repair from my boot cd, and it did it no problem

first time, no hassle.... and

everywhere ive gone, everybody else has had no problem, im not geek, im okay with technical stuff, just follow instructions... but in xp and with ubuntu, at times, ive had problems...

sofar win7 has been the least problematic install ive ever repeated, and that includes the OSx video editing suites at work......

so....

all i can really say is, well im skeptical, perhaps ur computer is trashed.... or.... uve been very unlucky......

or
